Closed in 2000, this ski-hill in Manitoba's parkland region sits vacant, ready for explorer's to ski down the hill year round and sip old hot chocolate in the main chalet. Unless you like wood ticks I would highly recommend that you avoid this area in the spring. After staying here for 20 minutes I pulled nearly 30 of them off my legs, arms and torso.
