The changing colours of vegetation has reminded me
of the life cycle that all creatures in our
ecosystem participate in. One overlooked area by
many trespassers is the life cycle of everyone's
favourite flying rodent, the urban pigeon. Most
trespassers hate their existence (even I have felt
like banishing some to the depths of hell) but I
have been always fascinated with these flying death
harbingers. I have been taking pictures of pigeon
carcasses for a long term but it was only until I
explored a building here in Winnipeg that held more
than 50 pigeon remains that I wanted to have a
gallery for them. Unfortunately my laptop with a lot
of those pictures on it was stolen so here are the
ones I could find. |
