Eyes of the Sky

Everyday in my first year of university I checked the door leading into a large vent room that I suspected led to the sixth floor roof and the highest point of the University. In my second year I gave up and instead focused on my studies and didn't even think about the room and the roof.

Kurious then stated that the door was open due to construction. So after class I went up to the sixth floor and found the door open, waiting for me to explore and photograph. As I was bringing out my equipment to my surprise Kurious and his friend came around the corner and said hello.

The ventilation room consisted of two huge vents in the west portion and two pipe vents that blew out air of them at a rapid pace. Beyond these two pipe vents was a room containing compressors. I quickly took my pictures and hurried out of the room as my ears ached from the screeching noises.

From this room I proceeded to go outside and up the stairs to the Observatory. I tried to go inside but it was locked and so I climbed up to the roof and took in the view. However I could not savor the view for long as workers began to come from their lunch and work on the roof on their fourth floor. I slid down the ladder and packed up everything quickly. To my surprise and probably to the workers as well, I walked through the compressor room, said "Hello" and continued to walk out and down stairs to continue my homework.
